Hello again!

What a crazy night!

American Idol has done it again... or should I said America has done it again.

Let's go back to my last blog.

"VOTES! That is what will make the fate for the top 8 performers.

Who do you think deserves to stay? I feel like they all do but it is just a matter of who is connecting with their fans."

Did Pia not connect with her fans like everyone else did? I find that highly unlikely. That brings us to the next topic. Did she deserve to go home? I think not.

I have one last question. Did you vote?

Everyone in the audience, Judges, and even contestants were completely surprised.

I almost fell off my seat when she was sent packing.

I will tell you one thing. I voted for Stefano a few times last night because I love the tone of his voice. However, did I think she should have went home against him? NO. I thought she was the best talent in the whole season.

Yet, she went home.

Twitter is blowing up my wall. Everyone is flipping a new one on how mad they all are. Yet, I doubt any of them voted for her even like I did not. Yes, of course I was mad she went home but I knew I didn't vote for her.

This is just another reason why voting is so important.

People, don't complain about someone going home if you didn't vote to keep them in.

That's American Idol for you! Just another crazy week.

Just another testament showing us to keep voting for our favorites.

Who will be the top 8?

Wow!

That was the first thought that went through my mind after tonight's episode of American Idol top 9. Rock n' Roll greatest hits was definitely a hit. Each contestant brought a unique twist to their performance from Pia finally doing an up tempo song, Scotty changing it up by not doing country, Casey bringing the upright bass back, and James slowing it down.

I felt like everyone is here to stay. The question is not who didn't bring enough because they all have been doing that every single week. The real question is who does America like more.

This is not just a singing competition, which we all wish was possible but you have to admit it is not. There are certain people who I don't care for but know they are very talented.

VOTES! That is what will make the fate for the top 8 performers.

Who do you think deserves to stay? I feel like they all do but it is just a matter of who is connecting with their fans.

Every week the judges seem to pick out a few contestants saying they are not connecting with their audience. Lucky for Stefano he did the following week after the judges initially brought this particular subject to him. However, did he connect with his fans enough again this week to save him a plane ticket home?

Who do you want to see go home? Should the person going home really go home or is it just because they don't have teenage girls voting hundreds of times?

If you have a favorite, vote. It is that easy. Yet, people still don't vote and get disappointed to see their favorite leave so early. For example, Daughtry a few years ago or even Casey Abrams a mere two weeks ago but luckily got saved.

Don't let that happen to your favorite.

It is a fight for the finish just in the Top 9. That still blows me away.

American Idol season 10 is going to be a bumpy road.

Brendan is under Universal/Decca Records with two albums under his belt. Make sure to check out his recent album self titled Brendan James on iTunes. It was released September 7, 2010.

“As a fellow musician, I definitely get that,” Brendan says, “but I actually had a good reason to do it. The album is self-titled because I feel like it’s my first recording that really showcases the different sides of me as a musician. It’s got everything from the mellow to the upbeat, to the somber to the unashamedly positive. My friends know me as the guy who loves to jump in the middle of a pick-up basketball game, but they also know me as the guy who needs to be reminded to stop spiraling when I start thinking about something too deeply. I have a lot of different sides and I wanted to make sure my music reflected that.”

Personally, I love his second album. His voice has this rich, irish, and unique tone you will never forget. It is the perfect type of music to listen to when you want to calm down, relax, and catch your breathe. I even listen to his album in the car with my windows down. It is fun and very catchy. I have to agree with Brendan when he talked about wanting his lyrics to be up front. They are that indeed. Go out and buy his album on iTunes. You won't regret it!

Spring Fever

Baseball is in the air. BBQ grills have been dug out, and green grasses is growing.

MLB spring opening started this past Thursday and the Phillies season is off to a good start.

So far they have a 2-0 record currently in first place in the NL East being the only team with a perfect record. They are hoping to clinch their first series of the season with a 3-0 record.

Right now it is the top of the 4th on Sunday April 3rd. With both Ryan Howard and Ben Francisco contributing home runs in the first making it 4-0 only after one inning. With only six innings away from the end of their first series of season they lead 5-1 against Houston.

This week the Phillies face off with NL East rivals the New York Mets April 5th, 6th, and 7th.

Have you ever felt like there was nothing to do? 

Well, I feel like that right now. Actually, I feel like that almost everyday. Even though there are many of things to do all around you, you never seem to be satisfied. Going to the mall, taking a walk, or going to the movies are activities that become tedious and old after a while. 

Any ideas of great adventures, activities, or events that you think are a blast?

P.S. If the fun is cheap... that is a major plus!!!

procrastination

Procrastination takes over my life. I seem to do everything but the things I am suppose to do. I thought that my senior year was bad but when I went to college last year it became worse. everything distracts me. Each day I set a goal to do my projects, studying, and homework. Except, I push it off everyday. 

Saying and doing are completely different things.

One may say they heard you but did they listen to you?

Just like myself, everyone has flaws. Right now my flaw is doing my Obesity pamphlet for my Biology summer course.

tight pants?

Boys or Girls? When a girl wears tight pants they are HOT but when a guy wears tight pants they are considered gay! Now personally tight pants are just clothing and whatever a guy wants to wear is fine by me. Most people find my opinion very weird but I find tight pants very attractive in a guy. What do you think? 

For those women who do not want to have kids. Just find a guy who wears tight pants. They lose sperm. 

For those who think I am crazy. I understand, I am.

Alexander Noyes. Drummer for Honor Society. I meet him at Hershey Park May 2nd. When I met him I almost fell over. This summer they are opening up for the Jonas Brothers world tour. Check them out they are the coolest people ever.

getting a free vacation?

Ok. If I knew later in my life I would be video taped every second of my life because I had 8 kids. I would scream. Yes, yes they get free vacations and all that jazz but really????? Is money more important than your life, sanity, and family. Oh these days keep getting worse. What do you take on the dumb Jon and Kate Plus 8 mess.
